Top Film & TV Apps on iOS in Central America: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top Film & Television applications on the iOS platform in Central America showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for the leading apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Cinépolis saw fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting at around 22.6K and peaking at approximately 30.9K in late November. Active users also showed significant movement, with numbers beginning at 1.1M, dipping to 840.8K, and then rising again to 1.08M by the end of December.

TodayTix – Broadway Tickets experienced relatively stable download numbers, ranging from about 64 to 162 weekly downloads. Active users for this app hovered around 462, with a slight increase to 503 in the week of December 23.

Cinépolis Cinemas Indonesia had a notable spike in downloads during the holiday season, rising from single-digit numbers to 600 in the week of December 23. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 130 to 625 by the end of the quarter.

AMC Cinemas KSA maintained low download rates, with weekly figures rarely exceeding single digits. Active user numbers showed a gradual decline from 97 to 72 over the quarter.

Cinepic had minimal activity with downloads mostly in the single digits across the quarter, and no active user data was reported.
